Is everything over one you have bought a house?
Answer: no.
If you realize or suspect that your house has problems you were not aware of or defects that the seller – intentionally or unintentionally – withheld from you, then an inspection even after the transaction can help clear things up.
The hidden defects, so called vicios ocultos, can be denounced a posteriori for compensation – and should be.
Obviously, it is easier to discuss problems beforehand, and even realizing a defect after the purchase, it is better to have a previous, professional and signed document in your hands.
And this is not just peace of mind for the buyer, but also for seller and real estate agent!
