Prices in the different Autonomous Communities range from €763 (Extremadura) to €3,267 (Madrid). Pais Vasco and Cataluña are also in the top range as they are the main business and economic centres of Spain. As a tourist centre, the Balearic Islands are as expensive as Madrid, while the more remote Canary Islands can save you €1,000 per square metre of your property.
If you want coastline at a reasonable price, look to the north-west of Spain – prices average around €1,400 per square metre!
