Is the location in Spain decisive?
Yes, the cost of renovations varies from region to region:
– Rural areas: In less populated regions such as Galicia, Castilla y León or Extremadura, labor costs and materials are often cheaper.
– Urban areas: In metropolitan areas such as Madrid or Barcelona, labor costs and building regulations are higher. Here, renovation costs can rise by up to 30 %.
– Coastal regions: In popular areas such as Andalusia, Valencia or the Balearic Islands, costs can also rise as the demand for skilled workers is higher.
