Before you buy a car for €20.000 or a new smartphone for €200, you real tests and opinions by professionals and other buyers.
Most people, when buying a home for €200.000, trust
a) their own judgement or
b) the real estate agent.
-> a) most people have never bought a house before and have very limited knowledge in some of the needed expertise
-> b) real estate agents work for the seller, not the buyer, and are sales people, not architects or similar.
